We are very finicky about our foods and especially our fajitas and margaritas. The experience here between the service the ambience and the quality of the food is out of this world and I had to let them know that we had our favorite place in our hometown in sylmar California and of course I can't tell them what I'm about to say here but this is our favorite place for Mexican food especially fajitas and margaritas! Cannot be more grateful we came with family and we were so satisfied strongly recommend this place. It is a little bit loud due to the construction time and the joyous participation of everybody in the restaurant. Other than that and that wasn't a complaint it's just a little more info for those who might be sensitive to sound this place was fantastic!

Went here for the 1st time on a business lunch. Came back a few days later and brought my mom. We arrived around 530pm and it was very busy, with a wait. No biggie it only took about 15-20 minutes to get seated. As soon as we were sat they had chips and salsa on the table that were very tasty. Carlos was right behind the chips and took our order. The food came very fast. Our food was a 9.5 out of 10 the tortilla soup may be the best I ever had. The meal came with a GIGANTIC and delicious puffy taco, it could have filled you up by itself. The enchiladas and rice & beans were unbelievably delicious. However (and i understand they were busy) Carlos left the chat and couldn't be found. Another server had to close us out. Minus that little hick up it's our new go to mexican restaurant

W eonly came for the Taylor Swift themed brunch for the release of her album. I have to tell you, they went all out with the decorations, dj miss Genna fire, a bracelet making station, spin the wheel and a photo booth. This is why we decided to eat here, for the girly vibes. I don't usually eat Mexican food for brunch but I got the egg Benedict with birria. Our server was amazing and they were super busy..I would definitely come back for another special event. Thank you for having this event.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Maria Bonita! Our server, Pedro, provided excellent service from start to finish. He was friendly, attentive, and his food recommendations were superb. The food itself was amazing—full of authentic flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing meal. On top of everything, the prices are extremely affordable for the quality you get. This is definitely a place we will be visiting again soon! Highly recommend.

The service was very good the atmosphere and food was phenomenal. For sure coming back. I ordered the pozole and it was very authentic just like in Mexico. We also ordered the fajitas very tasty and soft. My daughter ordered the shrimp tacos and they didn’t disappoint.

Where should I begin? We arrived just 30 minutes before closing and were uncertain about dining in, but I’m glad we did. They had live Mariachi music, which created an elegant atmosphere. The server was exceptional; he consistently refilled our drinks without us having to ask and ensured we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, with homemade flour tortillas, which was a definite highlight. Most of us ordered enchiladas, along with appetizers of bean and cheese nachos and cheese dip. The price per plate was reasonable. We’ve definitely discovered a new favorite spot for our visits to San Antonio.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Maria Bonita! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. Special thanks to our server, Daisy, who was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout our meal. Her friendliness and excellent service truly made us feel welcome. The food was absolutely delicious. We started with the tortilla soup, which was very flavorful and a perfect start to the meal. We also tried the mango and spinach salad, and it was outstanding! Overall, the atmosphere, service, and food were great. We highly recommend María Bonita if you’re looking for an authentic Mexican cuisine.
